Description: World War II era life buoy from the Anadarko Victory Ship. Approximately 28” in diameter. This ring is in decent condition considering it is about 80 years old. Seems to be made of cork. View photos to see aging that would be expected on an item like this. I acquired this from an estate sale near Suisun, CA. I did some online research of the item which shows the Anadarko was indeed in Suisun Bay when it was decommissioned and stored until scrapped. I included screen shots of my findings in the photos. NO paperwork is included with this purchase, so please make your own assessment as I did. This vintage life ring buoy from the Anadarko Victory Ship is a rare find from the WWII era. It was designed for use on Victory Ships during the war and is a unique piece of maritime history. The ring would make a great addition to any antique collection or just as a cool display at beach home. This item is a must-have for any maritime enthusiast or WWII history buff. ****NOTE: Screenshots of paperwork are to show my research and are for informational purposes only, and NOT included in the sale.
