Description: A wonderful Italian Hand Made and Signed Vintage Silver Brooch or Pin by A.P. which is believed to of Ascoli Piceno. The brooch is clearly marked as shown. There is no silver markings that I can clearly read but I think there might be an 800 mark next to the round stamp that you can see in the photos. The brooch is from an Estate - therefor it is pre-owned and used. It shows signs of age and some wear but overall the condition is very good. There are no breakage or repairs that I have found. The large faceted stone is believed to be faux Citrine or glass. It is not orange but rather a shade of amber. The brooch has a very simple type of pin/clasp which is a sign of age. It works - especially secure when the brooch is attached to fabric or a garment such as for example a knitted shawl.
