Description: Beautiful hand painted Atlantic Mold Rooster. This is a one of a kind painted by my talented grandmother! She had SO many chickens in her ceramic shop and this on was in her kitchen since before I could remember…at least since the late 80s. It was on top of her 3 fridges within that time frame! :) Full disclosure: there was grease on it from her yummy southern cooking. I have cleaned it and packed it up but my mom said it could have a nice soapy dawn bath and would not hurt the paint. I didn’t do this but did do a good wipe down with a damp cloth. However, despite that, it is in perfect condition! No chips or cracks! This is a two piece item and could be used for a cookie jar or for kitchen nick nacks.
