Description: Vintage Audels“Carpenters and Builders Guide” 1947 4 Book Set and Other Carpentry Fundamental Books Selling my dad’s set of Audels “Carpenters and Builders Guide”. This vintage 4 book set helped give him the basic knowledge to go on toa successful career as a carpenter and later superintendent in the commercial construction industry. This is the complete set, Volumes 1-4, of the 1947 edition, for the “nostalgic carpentry collector”. These books are in very good condition, though there is some staining on the page edges of volume 2 (see last 3 photos). I’ve reposted this listing to include two other vintage carpentry books I have: 1950 “Woodworking Visualized” by Ross C.Cramlet, an instruction manual on tools and wood basics geared to junior high students up to adults. The 1963 third addition hardback “Fundamentals of Carpentry”, Volume 1 by W. E. Durbahn,providing the fundamentals and instruction on tools and materials in carpentry.This book was mine from the first year in the Apprentice Program of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America (UBC).
