Vintage Bates BAR Cantiflex RoadBike FRAME Diadrant FORK Reynolds? Steel Bicycle

Description: 1959 Vintage 59.5cm / 23.5" Bates B.A.R. Cantiflex Road Bike Frame with Diadrant Fork Vintage 1959 23.5" Bates Brothers B.A.R. Cantiflex Road bike Frame with Daidrant Fork. Later Vintage Unique frame, made in Westcliff on Sea, Essex, England, United Kingdom. Cantiflex was special tubing held different shapes at points, ahead of the times, plus the Diadrant that supplied some suspension, Iconic look, and raced by some back in the day. I suspect its a 23.5" Frame set. Actual size is: Seat tube 58cm Center to Center or 59.5cm Center to Top with a 57cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 172mm. The 1" Threaded Diadrant Fork has 96mm Spacing and the Frame Rear has 126m Rear Spacing. I would assume it is Reynolds Steel 531 Tubing, it has Ornate Lugs, 5 speed shifter mount, cool roller wheel cable guide, mudguard mounts, and No Name Dropouts. Frame takes British / BSA/ ISO Bottom Brackets. The Serial # is B 179xx B and 378. Frame and Fork is used, chrome is very nice, looks to be original paint, Paint is Nice while decals are in poor condition, may have scratches, nicks, & chips in the paint, with decal & finish loss, cool survivor. The rear bottom stay Derailleur Housing Stop had broke off and was removed entirely, so there is a raw steel spot on the chrome, You probably have to use a Campagnolo #636 Chainstay Housing Stop to use gearing. Plenty of Eye Candy Pictures to mull over. What's Shown Weighs a tad under 6 lbs.
