It would be perfect for a party, prom, wedding or any occasion calling for a little extra glamour. This is a beautiful, vintage, 100% silk cocktail dress with unique bead work. A variety of iridescent tube and bugle beads in subtle shades of purple, gold, pink green and blue shimmer in 'freeform' vertical stripes and squiggles on sheer, deep blue silk chiffon. Five rows of bugle beads outline the dress's neckline, hem and short sleeves. It is fully lined in a matching blue China silk, with a graceful, wide scoop neckline in front, a sexy deep U neckline with a zipper-plus-hook & eye closure in back. It has all the lovely couturier touches--such as sewn-in (but removable) shoulder pads covered in matching blue silk; French seams; and a back center slit for ease of movement.
