Description: This is a vintage black velvet evening clutch purse with silver wire embroidery (Zardozi design). It's gorgeous. I think it dates from the 60's or 70's - but it could be older than that. Very nice condition. I don't think this was ever used. Please view the photos. The purse measures about 7 7/8 inches by about 4 7/8 inches. It's about 7/8 of an inch thick. (Slim.)The dollar bill in the photos is a good size and color reference. The velvet is very soft and lush.The interior is divided into three sections. The lining is a dark, greenish satiny material. NOTE: Dust and lint really show up on dark velvet. To keep this purse looking good you'll want to have a good lint pickup brush - like a Magik Brush. (They're very inexpensive.)
