The "Old Mold" proud Arabian Mare (PAM), which has no mold marks, was made by Breyer until 1959. Breyer stopped producing it at that time due to similarities to a mold made byHagen-Renaker. When the mold was reintroduced in 1971 after negotiations with Hagen-Renaker, there were minor modifications, including a splayed front left leg and the addition of the round "Breyer Molding Co." and "U.S.A." mold stamps.
