Description: For your consideration: is this beautiful 1956 23 Jewel Bulova automatic watch that’s in near perfect functional and physical condition. The 23 Jewel was referred to as the “Poor mans Rolex” back in the 50’s due to its quality and reliability which is demonstrated by it surviving the test of time sixty-eight years later. These watches make great gifts for birth years or your grandfather. Brand: Bulova 23 Jewel Movement: USA made Cal 10BPAC automatic 23 Jewel, six adjustments, anti magnetic and shock resistant Casing: 10 Kt. Rolled Gold Plate with a screw down stainless steel back plate Dial: Antique white sunburst dial with gold indices and gold hands Band: Expandable Spiedel 1/20 rolled gold plate expanding band Overall condition: Excellent I have personally performed a service and re-conditioning of this watch to restore it. I personally service every watch I sell. Service means that I totally disassemble the watch, inspect for any worn parts which are replaced if needed. I then ultrasonically clean the parts, then rinse them with a chemical solution. The parts are re-inspected for any debris or corrosion before I re-assemble the watch. After assembly I lubricate the watch according to the manufacturers technical specifications using several different oils and grease recommended by the manufacturer, at this time I use Moebius exclusively which is the industry standard in Switzerland. After assembly I test every watch for accuracy and proper function using a Time-Grapher MT-1000 which measures several parameters of the watches operation. Prior to the complete assembly with the case and watchband, I clean and remove all scratches and dirt, and then polish the watch to the best of my ability to make it look almost new. Most purist or collectors frown upon this but I’m not geared for their market. I’m more concerned about producing a restored beautiful watch that you will find attractive and proud to wear. Especially when someone ask you about your watch when they see it. They are great conversational pieces especially when you buy a birth year watch. As with any vintage watch with a mechanical movement, I can not guarantee 100% perfect accuracy, although I will always strive to get it as close as I possibly can. Most will be within 10-20 seconds plus or minus a day. This particular watch is in great condition which will provide you with many years of service and is priced very reasonably. Bid with complete confidence as I have 100% Positive Feedback. If you are not satisfied with your purchase based on an inaccurate description by me, just ship it back at your cost for a full refund. However I would appreciate input to better serve you and others in the future. Please ask whatever questions that come to mind and I will be happy to get right back to you with the answer as quickly as possible. Upon purchase your watch will be shipped immediately via USPS First class mail with delivery confirmation free of charge. There will be an additional cost if you request the item to be insured or if item is shipped internationally. If you are totally satisfied with your purchase, then express it by leaving Positive Feedback. If you are not satisfied, at least give me the opportunity to correct the problem before leaving Negative Feedback. All I ask of you is to be fair and reasonable in you request and I will do the same for you. Thank you so much for your interest and supporting my hobby.
