And when you put it down, the music stops... until the next round. This hilarious specialty decanter is new, with its original box and tags still on, but it was made in the early 1960's.(So not new production or a replica.) Although it was "owned," it was never used, tucked away on a back shelf in a storage room. The cork had never been put in the decanter before, so it is not completely pressed in for the photos to keep it pristine for its new owner. The music box requires winding to play. Swank was a company that was known for making costume jewelry starting in 1897, dog tags during WW1 and then men's items, with extra recognition for its cuff links. They started making bar accessories in the 1950s but stopped making them in the 1980s when they went back to making costume jewelry for men and women.
