Description: For sale is this Vintage Chess Set, Asian Hand Carved Wood Pieces. Painted with Red & Black Lacquer. The set is complete and comes in its original red and black lacquered folding board. This is a vintage item and it does have wear from age and use. The elastic straps to hold the pieces have been recently replaced. No major damage, the board does have some nicks and dings around the outer edges. The board is signed but I can’t make out the name. When the board is unfolded for use there is a gap in the middle. This is a unique chess set, no two pieces are exactly the same..
