Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. Even though this Santa Claus candy container is not marked, it is obvious it was made in Germany. Many of the German candy containers used the "wallpaper" print paper on the inside of the candy compartment. This one is not an exception. Santa's body is made from pressed cardboard. He has a fur? beard I believe. His red suit is flocked. He has a paper belt that is missing the buckle. There is chenille around his face. There are spots of gold glitter on the body top. His feet are cardboard and are black. I accidently put his feet on in the wrong direction. This can easily be corrected by taking the ball candy container apart and putting it back together correctly. He is holding a tree. This Santa is 8-3/4" tall x 3-3/4" wide at the elbows x 3" deep. He is from the 1940s. This Santa candy container was used. His feet have been reglued. There is wear to his belt and the flocking. He has a mark on his right cheek. There is a paint peel on the bottom. Please see my pictures. They help with the description. My price reflects the condition. I love to consider reasonable offers. Please email with offers or questions. I accept returns for any reason. Buyer pays return shipping costs unless I missed a condition issue.
