Description: Never used, Being on a shelfHall canary yellow w/platinum accents 6 cup automobile teapot. This teapot was first introduced in 1938 and discontinued in 1939. This teapot was released in Halls novelty line which ran from 1938 to 1941. The Automobiles were available in solid colors such as Art Glaze Blue, Cadet Blue, Canary, Chinese Red, Cobalt, Delphinium, Dresden, Emerald, Indian Red, Ivory, and Marine. The accents options were none, standard gold, Special Gold, and some in Platinum. This line would be reissued in 1993 as a limited edition for China Specialty. The reissues would be stamped with a square hallmark and the year of production. Teapot is approx. 4 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide. It is in near flawless condition. Free of any cracks or chips and the glazing is perfectly even throughout the piece.
