Description: This very rare Spanish figural castanet compact is in wonderful condition. The hinge is in working order, it opens and closes properly, and the mirror is clear and reflective. There are no repairs and it measures 4" tall 3" wide without cord and tassels. Very minimal scratching to the black surface (bakelite?) and the matador withbull artwork is in great condition. Dates to the late 1930's-1940's. Just a marvelous piece for a compact collector. Refer to the pictures to further assess condition. Please take a look at my other vintage/antique ladies vanity items.
