Description: Hello. I am offering an exquisite vintage Roseville Pottery Jonquil basket (324-8") from my own personal collection. The pattern was introduced in 1930. Jonquil pieces are highly sought after by and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike. Roseville baskets are among the most popular of its many shapes. This particular piece is extremely hard to find, especially in such great condition. The mold is crisp and the colors are rich and vibrant. It is nicely textured and is finished with a matte glaze. It is a heavy piece. The Jonquil basket has no chips, cracks, scratches, paint loss, or repairs. The handle is intact. The item is mostly clean on the outside except for a bit of surface dirt and handwriting (not mine) on the base. It is immaculate on the inside. For the sake of accuracy, there are sporadic areas of fine clear crazing on the inside and on the base. The piece is in mint condition. The basket's base has its shape number written in red; this is how some Jonquil pieces were marked. Also there is a mostly intact black paper label which faintly reads ROSEVILLE POTTERY. Its dimensions are 8-1/2" h x 5-1/2" l x 5-1/2" w. It displays beautifully and is a superb example of its kind. The Jonquil basket will be packed especially carefully before shipping and will be fully insured. The quoted price is an estimate for both USPS Priority Mail shipping and insurance.
