Description: Vintage Ethnic Doll very beautiful detailed costume.This fine little doll represents a high quality made figure of an older woman wearing period native costume. She is made from soft fabric and her face is lovely painted, with arched brows, side glancing eyes blue eyes, painted lashes, and red dots at sides of inner eyes. She has tiny red dots at her nose, rosy red apple cheeks and red painted lips. Her white hair is styled with curls on top. She is wearing a beautifully detailed ethnic costume, which I could not identify origin. She looks to be French, with her tri-corner cap with gold and blue rick rack trim. Around her neck is a black lace ruff. She is wearing a peach colored satin gown with ivory chiffon embroidered ruffle at her bodice, and sleeves. She is wearing a black felt waist ribboned corset laced with a baby blue ribbon that matches the rick rack trim on her dress. She has a cloth petticoat, and is wearing pantaloons and black felt boots. No rips, tears, or odors. Dress is a little wrinkled. This doll is of high quality, well made with cloth hands. Very lovely vintage doll.
