Description: Vintage 1930s / 1940s German handmade bag with "Bete und arbeite" (pray and work) stitched on it. It also has a stylized initial S (and H?) which looks like a $ sign, like a money bag. AS-IS. It has a few stains and some fading. No attempt has been made to clean it. See photos for size and condition. A note on vintage fabrics: I am not the original owner of these items, therefore I cannot guarantee their history. I am a non-smoker myself, but can't say the piece has never been around cigarette smoke or moth balls. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING!
