Vintage Glass Ornament w Double Indents & Red Stripes ~ Premier Glass Works

Description: Offering a round glass ornament from Premier Glass Works. The base color of the ornament is silver, and it has double reflective indents. There is a red paint stripe just below and above the indents. On one side of the ornament, you can see a manufacturing mistake ~ the red stripe on top does not meet correctly and the one on the bottom has a tiny red stripe above to the left of the indent. I am pretty sure that this makes this a one-of-a-kind ornament. It measures 2” in diameter. It is in good vintage condition with very little inside silvering loss. It has a long pike and the unmarked, smooth metal cap which are some of Premier's hallmarks. Premier was the only American ornament manufacturer to both produce their own glass and do their own decorating. Photos of ornaments always include a photo of 4 sides plus the top and bottom and may also include any special features of the ornament. Supersize them while you are examining the photos. Please remember that vintage ornaments are usually from 40 to 80 years old. All have been used and are thus probably not going to be in perfect condition. All are subject to some surface scratches, flaking to the paint, crazing of paint, age spots, oxidation, silvering loss, nicks around or under caps, may have tarnish / discoloration to metal caps, and some may not have the original caps. These are all signs of age ~ commonly called age patina. NOTE: I do offer combined shipping discounting when used with your shopping cart before you pay. They have usually all been used in the past and thus have the patina of age and use. As with all my auctions there plenty of pictures for judging coloring and condition - remember to supersize them for your best view ~ they are part of the description.
