Description: c. 1930s; Green Spot Inc. - Claremont, CA Vintage advertisement for Green Spot Orange-Ade. This non-carbonated soft drink was a short-lived beverage in the United States, falling out of favor by the 1960s, but saw great sales in Europe and Asia where it is still available today. This sign features highly detailed illustrated graphics depicting sliced and whole oranges in the foreground and a collection of bottles and glasses of the beverage slightly off center, both in front of the Green Spot logo, giving this piece some dimension.
