Vintage Handmade Little Red Riding Hood Grandma & Wolf Two headed Flip Doll OOAK

Description: This is a very unique doll that I have had for over 50 years. It was given to me when I was a child. A lady at the Army base where my Aunt was stationed, made it for me. It has been well loved, played with, has a few stains but is still in great condition. Little Red Riding hood, in her full cape, braided yarn hair with her painted face, is one doll. You flip her over and there is Grandma with her painted spectacles and grey hair. Turn Grandma around and flip her bonnet up and oh no!...there is the big bad Wolf with his big nose and snarly grin! As a kid this fascinated me to no end! It always brought smiles. I never missed the chance to show-n-tell a quick version of the story! I am cleaning out my trunks, totes and boxes stretched down memory lane, to lighten my load now, so it is time to share the joys with others! The doll is all cloth, stuffed and has hand painted faces for each character. As I said, there are a few stains which I have not attempted to remove. Grandmas dress has a small seam separation along one side- about a couple of inches. Easily stitched back together. My name is handwritten lightly on the neck, under the cape. Strangely, I never noticed this until taking these photos! It doesn't look like my handwriting as a kid or adult, so I'm assuming it was the makers. Everything else is sweet as can be, as it has been for about 52 years. This fullbodied, triple faced, Little Red Riding Hood story doll, is about 15 inches long. She's a leaner, doesn't really stand on Grandmas head too well! Doll stand is not included. Packaged safely for the journey through the woods to you, in a bubble mailer with plenty of soft protection against weather and obstacles... except for the Wolf, so watch out for him ya know!
