There is one obvious crack, which has not gone anywhere. There are several crack lines. The cork that kept the hot water, which kept the baby's food hot, is missing, but can be replaced. Dish measures - 7-1/2" from edge to edge of handles. It is 5-1/2" inside diameter x 2" deepHas three compartments.Made of heavy porcelain.
