This piece came from an estate sale of an avid Hopi collector. From Brown's Trading Post: John is from the village of Mishongnovi on the second Mesa and has been an active silversmith at the Hopi Pueblo from 1976. His is the nephew of Joe Coochyumpewa and learned at the guild. He also worked at Kopavi International for a period of time.
