Description: Vintage Patchwork Quilt Top 4 Patch - Indian Hatchet Pattern Size: 72" Wide x 84" Wide Total Blocks: Blocks - Handstitched Border - Machine Sewn 42 (6 Across and 7 Rows) Top is in very very good condition. We believe the blocks on this this were probably made in 1950s 1960s decade. There is a mix of fabric on them, feedsack, 50s atomic, 50s seersucker, one block has some old check wool, old cottons and prints. The border is basketweave fabric of red and white - we are almost certain it is feedsack or reproduction feedsack. It is pretty bright and almost new like but the texture is just like old feedsack fabric. Only condition issues that we noticed was a small pin head hole in border fabric and one small tear or hole that was repaired with hand stitching in the border fabric. Item is clean and order free.
