Description: Item listed is a vintage Jackes-Evans galvanized steel mailbox with a red indicator flag. The mailbox is in good condtion considering the age and exposure to the elements. There are small dings, scratches, imperfections, and light rust in some spots on the box. The largest area of rust is on the leftside of the door (see close up photo). The box is painted a matte silver gray color. The flag is red and the paint has chipped off in several places. The door opens and closes tightly and does not fall open. The mailbox was manufactured by Jackes-Evans MFG Co. St. Louis , MO The model number : 10 - 70 The box is 19" x 6.25" x 9". The flag is 9".
