Description: Vintage Japanese KOKESHI Doll 6.50 in Google translator came up with the Black Markings mean "Izu Shimoda" the red stamp means "Lake Yamanaka". I don't know if that's correct but that's the translation it returned. Made in Japan at least 32 years ago. She was in my mothers collection and I don't know where she got her. This is a vintage item and may show signs of wear commensurate with age and play. I describe everything to the best of my knowledge. I am not a collector or an expert; this item came from my parents’ collections. Item was in storage and may need to be cleaned. I will leave that up to the buyer, I do not want to ruin the items value. Please enlarge photos and look over carefully for your own personal judgment on condition as they are the best representation of the exact item you will be receiving. Please take all this into consideration before you purchase. All items are sold "as is" with no returns.
