Description: Vintage Kato Kogei Fujimori Collection Alpha-3 Snack Plate & Cup Here are 2 vintage 1980s Kato Kogei Fugimori Collection dinnerware pieces: 1 snack plate and 1 handled cup. Postmodern abstract pattern. Made in Japan. The backstamp on each piece: Fugimori Collection Alpha - 3 Kato Kogei Japan.I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference.The plate has a triangle pop-out accent. Approx. 7 1/2" diameter not counting the pop-out. There is allover crazing - none feel like hairlines to me but it is possible. There is a little surface chip on the pop-out wedge tip. There are two tiny black specks under the glaze on the front and a few tiny brown specks on the back.The cup is approx. 4 1/4" tall. No crazing or cracks. There is a chip on one back corner. There may be minor fleabites or original imperfections along the upper handle - you can feel some rough spots.Clean bright condition, no stains. Minor wear to the colorful designs. No smoke or musty odor.Bright white spots in my pictures are camera glare, not damage.Both pieces weigh slightly over 1 lb together.
