The two 50uF woofer caps are new electrolytic, the rest are film.The inadequate 5 ohm 5 watt woofer resistor was replaced with two 10 ohm 10 watt resistors in parallel for a value of 5 ohm 20 watts. The old resistors frequently scorched and cracked.The inconvenient screw type speaker terminals were replaced with new 5-way binding posts.Hand-made braided color-coded cables to connect to the Model Twelve speakers are included.Aluminum faceplates were replaced with NEW laser-engraved faceplates.Cabinets were refinishedIf your Model Twelves are not up to par, these new Contour Control boxes could be just the ticket!
