Description: Vintage Kohlert alto saxophone, s/n 67143. This is stamped "The Edgware", although I believe that it was made by Kohlert. It's a nice playing horn that has rolled tone holes, and a bright, focused sound. The previous owner overhauled the saxophone shortly before I acquired it. The pads are in new condition and have Noyek metal resonators. The pads are sealing OK, but the horn will need some pad adjustments by the next owner before it's in perfect playing condition. Still, I can get around on the horn and a get a great sense of how it plays. This is a great horn if you're on a budget and are willing to invest a small amount to get a horn into perfect playing condition. US buyers are free to return the sax for any reason, provided you pay shipping and insurance both ways. The sax must be returned in its original condition.
