Description: This is a vintage and very sleek aluminum airplane model with four engines and 4 spinning propellers. One glance will tell you that this is definitely Mid-Century. The Plane and the stand that it's attached to are all polished aluminum. I could see this on an Airline Executive's desk back in the late 1950s, early sixties. It's large and heavy: height is 11 1/2 inches, length is 14 inches, wingspan is 24 inches, and it weighs 4 pounds 1 ounce. The matching stand is connected to the plane by 2 machine bolts with knobs, and the tail is attached with 2 Phillip's-head machine screws. The stand holds the nose of the plane 10 inches off the top of a table. The 4 propellers spin and are attached with brass knobs. Thank you!
