Description: Up for sale is a very nice set of six Limited and numbered editions from the great fly-fishing classics series by Derrydale press, published in 1993/94. Two of the books are numbered 2040 of only 2,500 and the other four are not numbered at all meaning the limitation note was just mistakenly left blank. All the books are leather-bound with full gilt page edges and are facsimiles of the original classic printings going back to the 1600s. There are seven classics bound in six volumes. A very handsome and quality set! Hamilton CONDITION: All the books are range from Very Good + condition to FINE, with the difference only being that one, “The American Angler” has some smudging to the front gilt page edge as shown in photos #4, so VG +, and "Trout" has a bookplate affixed inside the front cover, but still Near Fine. All the others are Near Fine to FINE with just a couple tiny hairline scratches to the page edges. The covers are all excellent and internally the books are excellent as well!
