Description: Vintage Lot of 70 Horse Equine Unused Hallmark Oversized Post Cards - Many Horse BreedsUp for auction is a vintage lot of 70 horse equine postcards. This lot contains post cards that were distributed by Hallmark and include numerous horses and different breeds. I am not sure of the lineage of these cards but I believe they are probably in the late 1960s to 1970s time frame. These all have clean, unused backs (not postmarked and no writing). All have a text description of the horse breed or photo itself. I have photographed the entire lot of 70 cards. They all meaure approximately 8 1/2" x 6" and are in great shape for their age. There are some duplicates here if you look closely but there are many different. These are really cool and very educational. Please check them out. They all come from an estate collection of an equine artist who grew up loving horses and used many of these types of cards and photos as inspiration for her artistic equine creations.
