Description: Vintage Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Fl Oz or 100 ML Pre-Owned Click images to enlarge Description Up for auction is a vintage Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum Spray. It is sized as 3.4 Fl Oz or 100 ML. It has been pre-owned and although the majority of the fragrance remains, the bottle has a few scratches on the cream painted surface and the nozzle has several chips in the curved spray mechanism. This fragrance was introduced in 2001 in association with Coty Prestige. This was a very popular fragrance but was discontinued in 2018 due to consumer changing tastes. I found on the web that this EDP has top notes of Gardenia, Bergamot and Neroli. The bottle is glass, that is square shaped with rounded edges. The bottle is enameled with a yellow coloration. I found 2 very small scratches on the bottle. The neck is a silver metal with a yellow ribbon going around the bottom portion. The spray nozzle is plastic, in the same color as the bottle, and this is rectangular shaped with a slight curve up on both ends. This plastic piece is embossed MARC JACOBS in block lettering. There are several chips on this piece—on the top far left is a small nit; to the left of the information is a larger chunk (see photo) and to the right of the arrow is a small mark. There is also a plastic seal in the center of this plastic piece it reads: Press top down to spray Do not lift top off This spray nozzle works fine. However, it can come off and you just press it back on. I still think the fragrance smells fine, but it may not have the longevity of a new perfume off the store shelf. The underside of the bottle has a plastic seal with information about the product. In looking up this fragrance on Check Fresh, the 7249 Batch code on the underside indicates this fragrance was on the market in either 9-6-17 or 9-6-07. (These codes are repeated every 10 years).
