She was raised by her parents, Robert and Rhoda (Hendrix) Royer. She married Jim Anderson on September 19, 1965 in Charleston, IL. She was a member of Life Builders Church of God, Charter Member of Gallery 510, Barn Colony Artist and Decatur Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni Association. She was a professional water color artist and a registered nurse. She was an amazing woman that was deeply compassionate and caring. Her family, church and friends were so important to her everyday life.She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Jim; her two sons, Kent (Tara) Anderson of Las Vegas, NV and Kevin (Jennifer) Anderson of Oswego, IL; one daughter, Kristin (Tim) Driscoll of Berthoud, CO; one brother, Gary Howlett of Charleston, IL; one sister, Sherri Lynn of CA; four grandchildren, Jordyn, Hannah, Kate and Jens Anderson.
