Description: This vintage wool tennis sweater was purchased at the renowned department store, Marshall Field’s in Chicago in the late 1960’s. It was only worn a few times and has since been kept in a smoke-free home. Because of its age it is no longer a pure white; other than that, it is in excellent condition. It is a heavy wool knit. The size says 40 and according to a web search a women’s 40 is equivalent to a Medium/Large—please see measurements in photos.
