Description: Marx #5 tin "turn over tank" in RARE dark green! So I've kept this one hidden away in my collection for decades and have looked in local and non local shops of all types and have looked online numerous times and couldn't find another one in this color scheme, I thought that maybe someone with insane skills repainted this one and somehow had a Marx stamp or decal. However I have seen another one so I can sell this one knowing it's a 100% legit Marx USA made tin toy. I've seen ages on the #5's from being from the 1930's, 40's, and a list proclaiming the "tip over tank" as starting to be produced from 1953 onwards. Honestly I don't know for sure, but it's gotta be at least 70 years old at this point. This one winds up and will kinda work if you help it along, I'm not sure if that can be fixed and that's above my skill set to try. The paint is pretty good on it, does have some damage and wear associated with a child having had played with it. I've included many pictures of it in multi point diffused light to aid in your decision about the toy.
