Description: Unique and stylish Mid Century Capiz Shell Table lamp on the small to medium size.The shade turns on its' axis.There is a small crack/chip on the bottom of one panel. It is intact, but the crack is there, but is hardly noticeable. It shows as slightly "whiter" than the surrounding shell. You can turn the shade so it faces the back if you like. The wood base is hand carved or chiselled, possibly teak with a satin-looking finish. It is left bare on the bottom. No makers mark is present. Metal on the lamp looks like it's brass with some tarnishing present. No need for polishing-it's part of its' charm.No loose shell panels, everything is secure and nicely made. Last three pictures show the crack. Light bulb is NOT INCLUDED. Short cord (2' long) with a switch on it, and the plug is a LEVITON brand with two different size prongs. The switch is about 5" away from the plug. All in fine working condition. A beautiful lamp with a relaxed vibe to it, perfect for your mid-century, island or BOHO theme decor. Lamp will have ample bubble wrap for safe travels.Note: it looks like all three shippers now, only offer insurance up to $100.00.
