It still has a patina to it which would be best polished by a jeweler if desired. I personally think it looks great with the depth of color the patina adds. While most 14k gold will not tarnish, sometimes jewelry manufacturers use different alloys to strengthen the gold while maintaining its purity. This is more common with hollow items as they are more prone to dents/damage. That is why this bracelet is more prone to tarnish than typical 14k items. It also does have some dents to the links one dent is quite large while the rest are minor. I hae shown the larger dent in a close up photo and circled it.
