Description: Vintage 2005 M.Speed Modified Novarossi N12 LL3 2.1cc 3-Port Turbo Nitro Racing Engine Description *This listing is for a long discontinued Vintage 2005 M.Speed Modified Novarossi N12 LL3 2.1cc 3-Port Turbo Nitro Racing Engine. ***SERIOUS BUYERS only please! Single piece aluminum engine mount is only for propping up the engine and is NOT INCLUDED with this listing.*** *Made in ITALY! Manufactured in 2005 as these are one of the fastest and easiest to tune racing engine back in the day! This engine was modified by M.Speed (Japan) and should be even faster than the stock N12 LL3. Main modifications were to the crankshaft and the most likely the sleeve. We didn’t remove the sleeve since it was very tight fit on the crankcase. The connecting rod does have play which caused it to rub onto the backplate. There is still great compression (can’t really turn over by hand without flywheel) but the sleeve does have some light marks as you can see from the up close photos. The head is not original as it’s from a LL5 (Port) instead. The carburetor most likely is just a stock Mugen MT12 and is not an M.Speed modified one since it should be black and have no signature etching. Please be aware of that. Please check all pictures for your own reference. There’s almost no rust whatsoever anywhere as this was an absolute RACE ENGINE back in the early 2000s. VERY RARE modified engine indeed! *Extremely hard to find nowadays and is a perfect fit for any 4WD nitro touring vehicle utilizing SG crankshafts & rear exhaust port. An unmodded factory stock N12 LL3 already produces 1.6hp with a practical rpm range of 6,000-41,900! Great for collectors to display or mounted onto any vintage early 2000s Nitro Touring vehicle. *What you see in the photos is what you will receive (other than the single piece engine mount). Nothing more and certainly nothing less of it! Engine will be carefully boxed up in another heavy duty box and packaged safely for shipping purposes. *Shop here and SAVE BIG!
