Description: Vintage Native American Indian Handmade Beaded ( Dancing ) Leather Moccasins These women's two tone Leather moccasins were most likely purchased in the 1950's and worn a little before put away in a closet. The bead design ( I tried to find the tribe that made it ) shows colors of a dancing woman jumping arms stretched legs split wearing a tribal skirt. ( my interpretation of the art work. ) It takes hours to HAND MAKE Leather shoes and more hours to place beads as decorations. each artist has an individual design . The top still soft leather is aqua . bottom leather tan , , again the shoes show signs of being worn see photos. laces are missing. One small line of white beads are missing on one shoe, see photos The inside bottom of the shoes interior were padded but the padding is now just dust . I would not recommend wearing these shoes . I was using them I displayed them with my Indian artifacts . I could see a family driving out west stopping at a roadside market and purchasing these shoes as a souvenir of a trip through Indian nations No size of shoe measurements are 9 " long 3 inches wide 3 inches tall . ALL Hand sewn , each bead was sewn on the top leather of the shoe NO GLUE in this art work . Leather is still flexible no holes in seams just laces missing again see photos before bidding . The shoes as stated look like they were worn at one time / They would make a great backdrop to a Indian artifact collection .
