Description: This is fine 50's or 60's Sterling Navajo Concho Belt. It has 7 Conchos and an identical Buckle for 8 total. They are all 2 15/16" wide by 2 9/16" tall and about 5/8" deep. The Conchos weigh about 59 grams each, for a total of 480 grams for the Conchos and Buckle, without the belt. The Conchos are expertly cut and stamped, with very nice bezel set Turquoise on each one. The stones are 3/4 to 7/8" long and about 7/16" wide. It is unmarked and all Conchos test Sterling. Mounted with Copper straps on the back, the way most of these were made. This will take a 1 3/16" belt, as this one is. This belt is 39 1/4" long so will fit a 34 to 36" waist, one could add more holes to go smaller. Designed in the classic Navajo style for this period.
