Vintage NEW 1950s Dobbs Beaver TWENTYFIVE 25 Brown SZ 7 & Box? Stetson

Description: This is a NEW - near pristine! Dobbs - Brown - Beaver TwentyFive Brown fedora. This was actually manufactured by Dobbs and NOT manufactured by HATCO! You just don’t find hats like this anymore! The front brim can easily be flipped up or down. It’s a great sharp looking hat! If you’d like it steamed down please write to us. It’s easily flipped though. This was found in that late 1950s early 1960s Dobbs hat box. The box is still in outstanding condition! With its original hat holding insert set and buckle strap. We believe this is actually the original box that it was sold in. It’s the best and only way to completely insure that NO moths or anything will ever happed to this OUTSTANDING Fedora! There is only extremely minor paper wear. We actually pictured the worst side of the hat box. These hats are always seen in all those great old 1940-1950s Turner Classic Movie Channel! That’s Dads favorite channel these days. These are rarely found in such pristine condition! We filled the picture gallery so you can see every detail! It’s looks near pristine! Leather sweatband is perfect! Completely secured to the hat and still very soft and pliable! NO MOTH BITES and NO STAINS! We didn’t want to say it’s new because it’s just too beautiful to have never been worn! If you have any questions please write to us. After taking the pictures my Grandson did find a very tiny something on the underside brim edge, see the end pictures. We don’t know if it can be cleaned up with one of those Orange Cleaning Sponges that one of Dad’s hat collectors continues to write us about? Dad believes if that was used it would actually be trying to hide something. NOTE there is a coat trolley string that is fully functional but it’s different than what we are accustomed to seeing. This one goes through the grosgrain ribbon bow and just slips under the string. We don’t see a loop on it that we are accustomed to. Again it’s still fully functional though, see pictures. The DOBBS box is still in Excellent condition with its original hat holding insert set. If you DON’T want the hat box shipping will be $19.30. It’s a large hat box and needs a large shipping box and that’s why it’s costs more to ship, $29.20. You must write to us though before you buy the hat so we can change the shipping cost. So currently the hat box included in this sale. NOTE a if you are outside the continental USA the shipping box is NOT included unless you write to us first! It costs to much to ship internationally. If you do want the hat box, you MUST write to us BEFORE BUYING THE HAT SO WE MAY ADJUST THE DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT! ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: There is a size tag that’s states size 7 and this actually measures to a perfect 7 at 22 inches.We actually measure each hat 3 times using different methods. We discovered that one buyer crushed their shipping box and asked for a hefty partial refund. The shipper sent us a picture of the box sitting at the front door and it was NOT CRUSHED? We also discovered that because we were NOT in possession of the box it was impossible for us to file the claim. So now and in the future all claims will be handled by the buyer of the hat or item we ship. Again we ALWAYS carefully pack each hat so it will not be crushed in a good strong shipping box. There are always some Bad Apples around who make everyone’s life impossible! It not fair to the rest of the GOOD FOLKS but it’s a fact of life these days!
