Description: Vintage NIB 24% Lead Crystal Bowl Lausitzer Glas Madison Ave German Dem Republic. Condition is New in Box. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Although this is new in box, it is actually about 50 years old. This belonged to my mother-in-law and was found in a butlers pantry closet located next to the bar in her home. The box definitely shows signs of wear from being stored for so many years. It has the Lausitzer Glas logo on the to of the box, with the Bleikrstall logo on the front flap. On the sides of the box it has Schale dish coque copra crystal plombeux lead crystal 24%. It still has the original foil Lausitzer Glas sticker that states it is 24% hand cut lead crystal and is made in the German Democratic Republic. The design is that which later came to be known as Madison Avenue which features frosted flowers and leaves banding the upper edge of the bowl. This bowl is 8.75” in diameter and 4.25” deep.
