Description: Vintage A. J. Wilkinson & Co. folding 8” draw knife with a patent date of July 1895 and the number 8 is still visible. However, the manufacturer’s name is not, but simple research will determine the Wilkinson knife. Very good condition and the screw mechanics are free. The blade folds into grooves on the wooden handle by mfg. design. The knife is sharp and does have pitting and the handles are solid with a couple small scratches and cracks, but no impact on the use and durability of the knife. With the handles open the knife measures approximately 15” long, 6 3/4” tall and 1 1/2” wide. Folded the knife measures 13 3/4” long and 2 1/2” tall. Very good solid condition.
