Description: Thanks for looking at these excellent vintage Noconas. I bought these new-old-stock in December 2022 and have only worn them a couple times. Sadly I found they just don't fit me very well, so I'm moving them along. These likely date from the 70s or 80s, though the label on the box is worn off where the date code would be. The rest of the label is intact though, which reveals that the foot is made of "Aztec Brahma Bullhide", which appears to be a very hardy bull shoulder with great color and character. The tops are lightweight "Autumn Kiddie", likely calfskin tanned to resemble goatskin. These are a roper-style boot with a block heel, 3/4 welt, and plain (not pegged or nailed) waist. However, they're a little dressed up from your run-of-the-mill Justin roper: the tops are a little taller, the block heel is taller and has a bit more rake, and they retain the classic Nocona toe bug. As is typical for a Nocona boot from their best years, these have full leather lining, a thick leather insole, and the shaft piping and topbeading is leather as well. These are top-quality boots in an unusual style. While I did wear these a few times, they remain in basically mint condition. You can see the minor sole wear in the pictures. Note that I replaced the heel rubber as the originals had hardened beyond wearability. These would make an excellent pair for daily wear or just another pair in your collection. Please know your size in vintage Noconas before buying, as I can't offer detailed sizing advice and will not accept returns based on incorrect fit. Thanks!
