NUMBER OF ITEMS OFFERED? 1 GENERAL COMMENTS: Lovely vintage plate by the Michigan artist Normal Howard Brumm (1938-2008), 11 1/4" enamel on copper, pair of Canadian Geese. Plate has blue background and is signed Brumm upper edge. No losses to front, very tiny nick to back bottom edge not visible from front or side. Three of four padded feet are missing on back. Beautiful piece of Michigan wildlife art by this well-regarded artist. Normal Howard Brumm was a Michigan artist who started his career with pen & ink and watercolor images of Michigan wildlife, and in 1966 after his marriage moved to depicting his natural subjects in both sculpture and enamel on copper works. His works are highly regarded, and we collected or presented to the likes of President Ford, Empress of Japan and the Queen of Netherlands. Many listings quote plates as being from "Judith Brumm" who was most likely his wife.
