Vintage Original ABSTRACT MODERN media SIGNED Millsap FRAMED Pink/Green

Description: This unique, colorful multimedia artwork is titled "Compositions I" by the artist and features an abstract swatch of patterned fabric (which I suspect was painted by the artist), a wrinkled piece of brown paper, and a small slice of metallic-coated paper attached to textured and embossed art paper with the addition of hand painted abstract lines. The piece is signed "Compositions I" and "R. Millsap" by the artist in the lower right corner and along the right side. I was unable to locate any information on this artist. This abstract modern artwork is executed in shades of grass green, pink, ivory, beige, and blue. An outer beige-speckled matte and an inner espresso brown border matte have been added. The piece is mounted in a wide beveled composite frame that is a gilded bronze-gold with an antiqued finish (and is also very heavy!) I don't know the age of this piece, but estimate the 1990s based on the color palette (pink and green were very popular) and style of frame. It measures 19 inches in length and 19 inches in width - a perfect square (framed), and a nice medium-large size. The picture itself is in excellent condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes. The matte is also clean with no stains, marks, or holes. The frame has some very minor scratches and scuffs, consistent with age and normal wear. The glass is not chipped or cracked and is also in very good condition. The mounting of the picture is is very secure and tight and the hanging bracket and wire are completely intact. The paper covering the back of the piece has minimal blemishing and is in good condition. Please see photos for more detail.
