Description: Unique vintage original painting or illustration of three U.S. Air Force Cessna T-37 Tweet jet trainers flying in formation. Signed “Norma dean Sheets” in the lower left corner. I’m not quite sure of the painting medium, perhaps watercolors. The age of the illustration is unknown but may be from the 1950-60s. The matte measures approximately 11 7/8” x 16”. The matte opening measures approximately 8 1/4” x 10 5/8”. From the estate of a Cessna executive. Painting appears to be in very good to excellent used condition with signs of wear and age, such as stray marks, discoloration, stains, and some “waviness” to the paper. Painting has not been examined outside of the matte. There is no glass or frame. Matte appears to be in good used condition with signs of wear and age, such as fading, yellowing, minor scratches, scrapes, nicks, abrasions, indentations, stray marks, rub marks, discoloration, stains, wear along the edges and corners, a small crease in the lower left corner, and glue or adhesive residue on the back. Paperboard backing is taped and stapled to the matte and appears to be in “good minus” used condition with signs of wear and age, such as fading, yellowing, foxing, discoloration, stains, stray marks, rub marks, scratches, scrapes, nicks, abrasions, indentations, surface tears, and tape remnants and residue. There is also an inscription written in red ink that appears to read, "Property of Don Simon." Please review photos carefully, as they constitute part of the description.
