Vintage Otey Crisman 77H Model Alloy Putter

Description: This item is an antique vintage right-handed 34 3/4" wood shaft putter. A heel shafted aluminum alloy mallet head. Made by Otey Crisman of Selma, AL. It is his 77H Model. Flat front hosel and flat front shaft to assist aiming. The head is in good clean condition. Yes, it has the expected play nicks and dings but is not damaged. No hosel cracks. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is the old original hickory. The shaft is flat in the front as is the hosel. It is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. Always re-set hickory clubs prior to play. The grip is the original long leather wrap with red accent stripe. It is in good vintage condition. Hard to find model. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage (already done on this club). These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old hickory shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
