Description: This vintage pap boat is a unique find for collectors of antique medical equipment. The white ceramic material with an embossed duck design is charming and would make a great addition to any collection. The original/ reproduction is unknown, but also known as Pap Boats, Invalid Feeders wereused throughout the 19th century and well into the 20th century to aid in the feeding of patients that were too weak to feed themselves and in feeding infants adding an interesting historical aspect to the piece. The maker is also unknown, adding to the mystery of this antique. This would be a great addition to any collection of antique medical equipment or as a standalone decorative piece. This piece is in used vintage condition with minor vintage imperfections. Although I am no expert, I photographed imperfections visible to my eye which includedbut not limited to a black mark unside bowl a raised portionof ceramic and a pin hole in head.
