Description: This is a book cover recreation of one of a vintage paperback. The painting is on a wooden box in the shape of a book. The cover image is of a vintage DELL Map Back paperback titled “Before it’s too late" by Stuart Palmer. The cover features a classic image of a “dead dame in a bathtub!” While on the back cover there is the scene of the crime map of “Washington, D.C.” as seen on the book. Inside the box you will find a photo copy of the first page from the book which gives you a sneak peek of the story! Also included with this box is the actual paperback which fits quite perfectly inside! Original vintage cover Art has gotten out of range for most collectors, I hope my cover is a good alternative! Please keep in mind this is painted on natural wood, so there are natural grains, splits and textures that are going to be visible throughout the box. My recreations have been published on book covers and one was featured in "Dames, Dolls and Delinquents" by Gary Lovisi. I am always working on another cover so be sure to check my listing again!
